By accessing or using Motif ("the Service"), operated by Motif ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Motif is a content repurposing platform that transforms recordings, text, and URLs into platform-ready social media posts, newsletters, and blog content. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content based on your inputs and trained voice profile.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You may manage your subscription and payment method through the billing settings in your account.
We offer a 7-day grace period for failed payments. During this period, you can view existing content but cannot generate new content. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, your account may be suspended.
Your content: You retain full ownership of all content you upload to the Service (recordings, text, URLs) and all content generated by the Service based on your inputs. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.
Our service: We retain all rights to the Service itself, including our technology, algorithms, and platform.

We reserve the right to review, flag, or remove content that violates these terms. Content flagged by our moderation system may be blocked from scheduled publishing, though you can still copy it to your clipboard.
Content generated by Motif is created using artificial intelligence and is provided as a starting point. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing any generated content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You should review all generated content before publishing it on any platform.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Motif shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your data, content, voice profile, and cancel your subscription. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
